This kit is designed to lower the chassis, battery, and electronic components, bringing the benefits of a low center of gravity to 2WD short-course trucks such as the Slash, Raptor, and Robby Gordon Edition Dakar Slash. Whether you're racing on the track or off-road, you can expect superior handling and improved corner speed with this conversion kit.

The conversion kit includes all the necessary parts and hardware to convert one 2WD Slash to the Low-CG configuration. It features a blue low-CG chassis, black Nerf bars and lower chassis, battery hold down, optimized low-CG front shock springs, and hardware. Additionally, for personalized Slash low-CG chassis customization, the low-CG chassis, lower chassis, and Nerf bars are available separately in three colors: black, blue, and grey.

The Low-CG chassis is designed to position the battery and electronics as deep in the chassis as possible, effectively lowering the weight in the chassis. This design significantly increases corner speed and stability for an improved driving experience. The complete Low-CG Conversion Kit (#5830) includes a blue low-CG chassis, black Nerf bars and lower chassis, battery hold down, optimized low-CG front shock springs, and hardware.
