The Tough Desert Prerunner Truck Body is a 1/18 scale pre-painted body with applied decals and adjustable-height body mounts. It features a waterproof electronic speed control with an innovative design that allows for fully-proportional forward, reverse, and braking control. The truck offers three drive profiles including Sport Mode, Race Mode, and Training Mode, each offering different levels of control and performance. The EZ-Set one-button setup and thermal shutdown protection make it easy to operate and safe to use.

The motor is a powerful 370 brushed motor that provides virtually maintenance-free operation. The truck also comes with a 2.4GHz 2-Channel Radio System, ergonomic transmitter with internal antenna, and a 3-channel micro receiver with fail-safe security and servo reversing. The electronic steering trim controls allow for precise steering adjustments.

Included with the truck are a battery and charger, with an AC wall-outlet charger and 1200mAh 6-cell 7.2V NiMH battery with iD. The fiber-composite chassis features impact-absorbing front and rear bumpers, as well as a quick-release battery hold-down for fast battery changes.

The transmission and driveline of the truck feature full-time shaft-driven 4WD and metal-gear front and rear differentials. The waterproof sub-micro steering servo and integrated servo saver provide reliable and responsive steering.

The suspension is a 4-wheel fully independent suspension with springs and oil-filled coil-over shocks with variable mounting positions. The aggressive all-terrain tires are pre-glued to 5-spoke wheels, providing excellent traction and performance.
